Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis lets you play ball with SpongeBob, Rocko, Arnold and more, coming soon to Apple Arcade

Smashing tennis balls on the court with SpongeBob, Michelangelo, and Garfield is now totally possible with Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis, the colourful mobile title from Viacom International Inc. that lets you compete with fan-fave characters from different franchises. Coming soon exclusively to Apple Arcade, the game features over-the-top tennis matches highlighting past and present Nick IPs.

Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis offers players a brand new way to immerse themselves in the Nickelodeon universe as they compete for the top spot across well-known locations. You can test your tennis skills in ZIM's secret base or in Bikini Bottom, or discover more about the narrative in solo story mode (for instance, Mr. Krabs has apparently given SpongeBob a day off to compete in a tennis tournament).

It does look exciting to play tennis with Rocko and Arnold, or have SpongeBob wield a Krusty Krab sign as his racket (because why the heck not). Characters have special moves that are unique to them (plus fun-tastic power-ups), and players can customize their favourite units' outfits and gear as they progress into the game. You can also compete against online buddies for the ultimate bragging rights as you rise to the top of the leaderboards.

If you're curious to see how you'd fare in a tennis match with Angelica, Danny Phantom, or with CatDog, you can download Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis exclusively on Apple Arcade. It's a monthly subscription service that will set you back $4.99 a pop every month, with a one-month free trial so you can see if it's your cup of tea.
