Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds reveals its new update entitled Legendary Ancient Genie, introducing lots of new content and challenges

Netmarble has revealed the next big update for its now very popular mobile MMORPG; Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds. After releasing only a month or so ago, Ni No Kuni has seen massive success and constant support, and this next update is no different, offering up new episode content, events, costumes, mounts, and even more.

This update, entitled Legendary Ancient Genie, will see a ton of new additions, but let’s go over the highlights. First up, starting from when the update launches, players will be able to encounter the titular Legendary Ancient Genie with either 1 or 5 players within the new special episode dungeon. He’ll be able to be found alongside a new foe, the Dusk Syndicate. Both will be required for various missions and challenges that will be hosted starting from when the update launches.

Along with these additions, there will also be a new Legendary Ancient Genie costume up for grabs in the shop along with the Magic Carpet Mount. There will also be a new kingdom dungeon map entitled Flaming Knight Ras, and there are also some new field bosses you might run into when you’re exploring the vast world of Cross Worlds. These two new field bosses are Stella and Mecharagon and will each offer up some new loot to hunt down as well.

And finally, there will be two new events that will run from when this update launches for a fair few days afterwards. The first event is the Legendary Ancient Genie Episode Guide Event, during which you’ll clear missions in a variety of ways, such as hunting down Dusk Syndicate enemies that can disguise themselves as NPCs, or by playing the Episode Dungeon and some other creative objectives. You’ll receive a ton of rewards such as the Familiar Summon Coupon or the Costume Summon Coupon for completing these tasks.

The other event, the Toko Growth Event, is a little more simple and will be accomplished by clearing the Toko Growth mission and other Toko-related missions. If you do so, you’ll receive Evolution Fruit, Jelly Bottles, 4-star Toko familiars and more.
