Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is celebrating Halloween with the new Night of the Sparkling Candies episode
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is also getting ready for Spooktober with the newly released Halloween-themed patch. Netmarble is updating its popular mobile RPG with loads of events including a brand-new episode. Players can also get their hands on several rewards over the next few weeks.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds’ latest episode has been titled Night of Sparkling Candies and it is naturally inspired by Halloween. The goal is to harvest as much Pumpkin Candy as possible, cook it, and give it to NPCs in exchange for Power Ups, Currencies, and Pass EXP, all of which will boost seasonal momentum.
In addition, there’s the new Hide-n-Seek minigame that transforms players into a cat. All participants will be randomly divided into Shadowtails (hiders) and Lighttails (seekers). The former must remain alive until the end of the game to win while the latter must locate all the Shadowtails before the timer runs out. Victors will be granted a Jelly Bottle, Evolution Fruit Basket, and lots more.
Then there’s also the Shadow Pinata Event which goes live on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It tasks players with gathering Light Pumpkins that have been distributed all over Evermore. They will come in handy against the Shadow Effigy boss, who can only be defeated by the power of the light.
Taking down this foe will award everyone with Miraculous Warding Doll Chests and Piñata's Enhancement Stone Selection Bundle. If that doesn’t sound like enough, then use these Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds codes to get valuables like gold, pods, and chests!
Meanwhile, a Halloween Catch Cluu! Event also unlocks with simple missions like donating to the kingdom. These will give players tickets required to play the Catch Cluu minigame. Rewards for completion include a rare 6-star Toy Chest that can be used to power up familiars.
