Unboxing BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha
Hands on with the phone you'll never see
It's traditional when a new piece of hardware is released that we take unboxing photos.
The BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha will never be released to consumers, but it's so important to RIM - and clearly the company has spent a lot of time preparing for this release - that we couldn't let the opportunity go by.
So, despite it not being a consumer device, indeed, when it boots up, it thinks it's a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, here are the usual spycam photos.
Personally, if it was a consumer device, I'd be all over it.

Dev Alpha comes immaculately packaged in a consumer box, including manual and headphones.

There's even a slip case.

Hmmm, what's this we see. A Qualcomm logo. Interesting as the PlayBook tablet used a Texas Instrument chipset.

Aha - the device itself, complete with a plastic bumper case.

I am actually holding Dev Alpha. In my hand. Amazing.

Here's the users guide.

Looks a bit like an iPhone 4S right?
