Third-party Steam applications begin disappearing from the Android Market following Valve's official release
Naughty

Late last week, Half-Life developer Valve released an official iOS and Android Steam app, which is currently in a closed beta stage.
According to website DroidGamers, "just about every" third-party Steam client has mysteriously disappeared from the Android Market since Valve's official application landed on the digital store's shelves.
It's believed that one of the remaining third-party efforts, Staticon for Steam, has survived the chop simply because it doesn't pack all of the features that Valve's release does.
As DroidGamers points out, Valve's Steam API is publicly available, meaning that developers are allowed and encouraged to create useful desktop, mobile, and web-based Steam applications.
In other words, if Valve is behind the recent app removals, it's a rather strange move on the Team Fortress 2 creator's part given its well-publicised support for third-party offerings.
Ready to go?As mentioned, Valve's official Steam app is currently in a closed beta stage. This means you can't simply download it, enter your details, and start chatting with your buddies.
