PlayStation Phone seen yet again in the wild
|

At some point recently the 'if' hanging over the future of the long-rumoured PlayStation Phone turned into a chrysalis and emerged shortly afterwards as an elegant, flittering, evasive – though undeniably real – 'when'. The PlayStation Phone is coming, and it's coming soon.

The phone – thought to be officially called the Xperia Play - is an Android device running the 'Gingerbread' 2.3 version of Google's OS, which is currently confined to the brand new Google Nexus S.

Aside from that no new information is available other that the PlayStation Phone is about the same size as a Sony Ericsson X10. If you look carefully at the picture above (and the ones that go with it on hkgolden.com) you'll notice that the screen of the PlayStation Phone has one of those plastic screen covers you get with new phones, indicating – possibly - that it's imminent.

Keep an eye out for news in the coming weeks.
