New stock of Samsung Galaxy Nexus handsets with volume bug fix arriving next week
|

Good news for owners of Google/Samsung’s shiny new Galaxy Nexus handsets - Irish resellers have told SlashGear that they expect an updated version of the phone to arrive in shops next week.

This update apparently fixes the volume issue that has plagued Nexus owners on networks using the 900MHz 2G band - Vodafone, O2, and their respective sister networks like ASDA - in which the phone would randomly mess about with sound levels mid-operation (as shown by our very own Damien McFerran’s in the video below).

If true, it suggests there may also be an update for existing owners around the corner soon as well - a refresh of stock that's fast lending credence to the fix being software-based.
