Back in January, NetherRealm creative director Ed Boon revealed in an interview with GameSpot that the Batman Arkham City Lockdown developer would "definitely like to do additional iOS titles".

According to the NetherRealm website, the company is already looking for a 'senior designer' with "extensive game development experience" to create "multiple Unreal-based iOS projects".

What's next?

The job posting states that the successful applicant will be working closely with creative directors, lead designers, and lead programers to create high-quality games in a "variety of genres".

Unfortunately, the listing doesn't give any hints as to what the upcoming titles could be, but a new Mortal Kombat game isn't likely.

"We really want to diversify ourselves, and work on multiple formats, multiple types of games, not just Mortal Kombat games," Boon said in the abovementioned interview.
