No, we’re not pulling your finger

Lawyers get involved in iPhone fart app stink

The only thing more ridiculous than an App Store full of farting applications is a room full of bored lawyers. But in an effort to shore up a bit of extra gin money, lawyers have been set about their evil ways over use of the phrase “pull my finger”, over which developers Air-O-Matic and InfoMedia are disputing ownership.

When you realise that InfoMedia has made over $200,000 from its iFart app, while Air-O-Matic’s Pull My Finger has found itself at the number two (sorry) position on the prestigious and profitable App Store paid apps list, it’s easy to see why lawyers have been attracted to the dispute.

Air-O-Matic is apparently demanding $50,000 from InfoMedia in lost revenues over iFart’s use of the phrase “pull my finger”, despite Air-O-Matic’s co-founder Sam Magdalein telling the Denver Post: “It would be pretty ridiculous to have this end up in court.”

It’s still be pretty funny watching a well-suited lawyer attempting to address the seriousness of this situation to a judge, however.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
