The sprawling LittleBigPlanet community just became a whole lot more pocketable thanks to the release of LBP Hub, a free companion app now available on the App Store.
Created by an avid fan of the games, LBP Hub is a mobile information aggregator that brings news from the LBP.me website into a slick, easy to navigate interface.
Moreover, it allows users to follow their favourite creators, check levels for updates, and abreast of the latest news in the LittleBigPlanet community.
Sack in the swing of thingsThe 'Follow' feature of LBP Hub is perhaps its most interesting and powerful.
Every time that the app is opened, it will check LBP.me to see if creators listed as favourites have published any new levels since your last login.
With the release date of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita fast approaching, members of the LittleBigPlanet community will soon have mountains of new content and levels to manage.
While LBP Hub does not specifically support content for LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, it may well inspire another member of the LBP community to create a companion app specifically for the upcoming game.
LittleBigPlanet PS Vita will be released on September 19th in Europe, and September 25th in North America.
