iPhone tangrams game drops its cost

iPhone game TanZen rearranges its price

Apple has casually shrugged off the launch of the Google Android phone, but it's a remarkable coincidence that we're seeing all these sudden and unexplained App Store price cuts.

The next to slash its prices is the tangrams game, TanZen - an updated version of the ancient Japanese puzzle game, which requires you to build the shape of silhouette using seven different geometric shapes. This was never an expensive game to begin with (and there's still a lite version for anyone looking to try before they buy), but the full version can now be picked up for just £0.59.

Of course, most of the price reductions we're seeing will be the result of developer made decisions (rather than Apple answering Google's quiet challenge), but we have to wonder if many aren't considering switching their attention to the considerably more developer-friendly Android system…

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
