Flight Control for iPhone and iPad goes free as part of EA's Daily Deals promotion

EA Mobile is celebrating Christmas by offering free games, discounted software, and cheap in-app purchases every day until January 2nd.

Today, you can nab both Flight Control [buy] and Flight Control HD [buy] for your iPhone and iPad completely free of charge. This marks the first time these genre-defining games have been reduced to zero pennies.

The iPhone version of Firemint's rather excellent line-drawing title earned a prestigious Pocket Gamer Silver Award when it touched down on our tarmac back in 2009.

Flight Control HD, meanwhile, bagged a shiny Gold Award due to its "iPad-exclusive content".

Is that it?

Today's deals don't end there. You can also pick up the premium version of Pogo Games [buy] via an in-app purchase for 70 per cent less than yesterday, or save some dosh on "select in-game content" in Restaurant City [buy].
