EA slashes US prices on Tiger Woods, Spore, C&C, Madden, Skate It and Star Trek

It would be tempting to suggest that on the back of its less than impressive financial results, EA is keen to get more cash in.

Or maybe it's the Chillingo effect. After all the UK publisher, just bought by EA, has built a business mainly on games priced 99c.

Probably a little bit simplistic, but something's happened as it's slashed the prices on 10 games in the US App Store, which if my maths is correct sees a previous total of $38.90 now available for $13.90.

Star Trek from $1.99 to 99c

Sudoku from $1.99 to 99c

Tiger Woods PGA Tour from $2.99 to 99c

Spore Creatures from $6.99 to 99c

Spore Origins from $1.99 to 99c

Yahtzee Adventures from $2.99 to 99c

Boggle from $1.99 to 99c

Command & Conquer Red Alert from $4.99 to 99c, and

Madden NFL 11 from $7.99 to $4.99

There's no news on how long the games will be on sale, so snap up any you want quickly.
