EA Mobile holds 'No Work, All Play' iPhone game sale for Labor Day

Only for Americans

EA Mobile holds 'No Work, All Play' iPhone game sale for Labor Day
|

If there's one thing Americans love, it's holding iPhone game sales to mark national holidays. Not long ago we spent half a day writing up various Independence Day sales, and today it's the turn of Labor Day.

Repeat offenders Glu and Namco have already announced sales, and EA has inevitably followed suit by reducing the price of its range of Hasbro boardgame conversions.

Boggle, Monopoly Classic, Monopoly Here & Now, The Game of Life, and Yahtzee Adventures are all now 99c, while Scrabble and Risk are $1.99.

Unfortunately, the sale appears to be for Americans only. Boggle still costs £1.19, both Monopoly games cost £2.99, Yahtzee Adventures costs £1.79, and Scrabble costs £1.79. Not only do us Brits have to work today, but we also have to pay full price for games.

The saving grace is that The Game of Life is 59p and Risk is £1.19 as part of EA's Back to School sale until Monday. Even if you live in the UK or Europe, it is manifestly your destiny to get these two games cheap.
