DreamWorks Animation to launch Halloween-themed 3D video shorts on 3DS this month, Monsters vs. Aliens video available today
Blue Man Group and 3net prepping more content for October

To celebrate that time of year where our nation’s youth dress up as ghosts and throw eggs at people’s houses, DreamWorks Animation is releasing a couple of Halloween-infused animated shorts for the 3DS.
The first of the two features characters from Monsters vs. Aliens, and is available today. A second short will apparently star the Three Little Pigs from the Shrek films, and should premiere later this month.
Other video content making its way onto Nintendo’s handheld in October includes the final clip in a series of six videos from Blue Man Group. This one may not be directly related to All Hallow’s Eve, but if - like me - you find the Blue Man theatre troupe deeply sinister, it may make for suitable Halloween viewing.
Finally, 3net (a joint venture between Discovery Communications, Sony, and IMAX) will be working to provide short-form content for the 3DS on an ongoing basis. 3net's original stories include Bullproof, which follows four bull riders; Building the Brand, which takes a look at iconic products; and Feeding Time, which promises close-ups of cute animals being, well, cute.
