Today has been a good day for Android owners. There's a beta for Shadowgun: DeadZone, two new Tegra games, and the promise of the 'droid-flavoured Crazy Taxi on the horizon.

New releases

Beach Buggy Blitz, from Riptide GP developer Vector Unit, is no longer exclusive to Android. You can get it on iOS as a free Universal app. Give it a bash, why don't you.

Sales atr-lili

BitMonster's serene island exploration game Lili is on sale for £1.49 / $1.99 on iOS. We called it a "rather slight and flimsy game" in our 7/10 review.

Big updates

Pocket Planes has received a sweet little update. It now fits the iPhone 5's big screen, has some new planes, and supports syncing with the new Mac version.

Android app shop Google Play has been updated. You can now remove apps from the All Apps list, and store-related notifications are now a lot smarter. Hooray.

On the horizon

Lost Planet spin-off E.X. Troopers is getting a demo on the Japanese eShop on October 17th. Sadly, the 3DS game might never be released outside of Japan.

Pocket Planes creator NimbleBit has let a teaser image for its next project loose on the interweb. The picture - found by Pocket Tactics - shows a row of itty bitty fantasy heroes.


3DS platformer Mutant Mudds is getting a huge update this month - and it's going to be free. It'll contain 20 levels, a new theme, and tricky new challenges.

Suda 51's eShop shmup Liberation Maiden is available right now in Europe, but North American gamers will have to wait until October 25th. Tiny Cartridge spotted this on the eShop ticker.

Noodlecake has chipped in some new info on silly golf sim Super Stickman Golf 2. It will have new characters, RPG-style levelling, hats, and loot. It's out early next year.

Illusion Labs has announced that it's working on a sequel to finger-flicking skateboard game Touchgrind. "The entire Illusion Labs team is super stoked to be creating the next top skateboarding game for iOS," Illusion Labs tweeted.
