Mongil: Star Dive gets top billing with showcase at Gamescom 2025

The upcoming Mongil: Star Dive has proven to be very popular behind the scenes here. I, and many others have been interested to see what this oddly named RPG has in store. And for the first time, those of you attending Gamescom 2025 (August 20th-24th) will be able to get their hands on it as Mongil: Star Dive offers hands-on demos at the show.
Samsung and Netmarble will be teaming up with the developer, offering the first hands-on demos for mobile. That's alongside showcases for the desktop version and on the new Odyssey 3D glasses-free monitor to boot. All of which promise to be exciting demos of how Mongil is optimised for different devices.
That's not all, if you're lucky enough to be attending the World of #PlayGalaxy experience from August 22 to the 23rd being held adjacent to the conference in Cologne then you might be in for even more excitement. There, you'll get an additional chance to try it out on the just-announced Galaxy Z Fold7, as well as exclusive merchandise.

With how saturated the RPG genre is on mobile, we're in something of an arms race for quality. Be it emphasising fair competition and 'no p2W' or emphasising graphics and fidelity (or both!), there's big competition to get players' attention.In this case, it's clear that Netmarble are trying to cover all the bases with Mongil: Star Dive as a next-gen style release. Be that the snazzy 3D monitor or the upcoming Z Fold7, it's obvious that the emphasis here is on quality to beat other top players (pun not intended) in the genre.
