Other Tales Interactive has announced that Miniatures, the studio's upcoming game that promises a nostalgic trip down memory lane through a child's perspective, is coming to mobile and PC next year. The game offers an artistic take on a series of narratives centred around an old wooden box, with a quality you can expect from the creators of the award-winning co-op puzzler Tick Tock: A Tale for Two.

In Miniatures, you can look forward to plenty of atmospheric vibes as you explore 4 tales told from the POV of a child. Essentially, you'll go through the contents of an old wooden box with 4 items, namely, a toy lizard, a framed moth, a screwdriver, and a seashell. These seemingly random items will have a unique story attached to them, and you'll need to dive into your own imagination as well to reconnect with your inner kid and view things with a sense of childlike wonder.

"After releasing Tick Tock: A Tale for Two, we got fascinated by the smaller but impactful stories found in picture books and short story collections," says Tanja Tankred, writer. "We experimented with multiple stories and art styles until a peculiar tone started to emerge. We are incredibly excited to share this odd collection with you."

If you're eager to join in on all the fun and give the game a go yourself, you can do so by adding Miniatures to your wishlist on Steam for now while we wait for the official release date announcement.
