In case you missed it, Niantic and Marvel have revealed an epic team-up that will bring players MARVEL World of Heroes, an AR-based mobile game that gives everyone the chance to be a superhero in the real world. As revealed during the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase at Disney’s D23 Expo 2022, the game lets players dive into the expansive Marvel Universe in an entirely new way in 2023.

In particular, MARVEL World of Heroes lets players become a superhero in a social game experience where they can fight against the forces of evil alongside their family, friends and other Marvel superheroes. Players will be able to craft their own unique identity and origin story as well, as they patrol their areas to clear superhero missions and defend against interdimensional forces threatening the peace.

Levelling up lets players unlock cool abilities and other equipment. They can also join forces with fan-fave heroes like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America and more. While there aren't too many details about the game just yet, suffice it to say that it's going to be a unique experience on mobile as players gather to save the Multiverse in their own way.
