Complete rework - October 7th, 2026 by Cristina Mesesan
In Marvel Strike Force, it's not easy at all to pull every character in the gacha, but luckily there are some ways around it. You can use your strongest characters at the start, and then slowly ease your way into some of the best ones. Oh, and if you are not sure which ones are the best, you're in luck - this article is a complete Marvel Strike Force tier list.
All the characters in the game have been ranked based on how strong they are in the later stages, so ideally, you should try to get them ASAP.
How does the ranking work in Marvel Strike Force?
As you probably noticed, the moment you get started, you will only have a couple of characters. You can then redeem our Marvel Strike Force codes to get your hands on quite a few shards, which should give you a solid roster. After getting a solid team in place, the next step is to upgrade it as much as possible and try giving your characters some solid gear. Towards the end-game stages, this gear will make a huge difference, as well as the level of upgrades you have on your team.
Marvel Strike Force tier list
When we ranked the characters in MSF, we took all this into consideration, and so we ended up creating a tier list that should be pretty solid. At the top of the tier list, we have characters that are useful regardless of content (most of the time). You should upgrade them as often as you can. Moving down in the lower tiers, we have characters that underperform or are only usable in specific situations. I'd advise you to upgrade those only when needed or when you have the resources to do so. Otherwise, I'd just avoid them (if you already have the ones in the S+ tier). Finally, since we have so many characters in Marvel Strike Force, many of them end up in the C tier. Those characters are mainly usable in the early to mid stages of the game, so upgrade them just enough to let you pass the stages and move on.
So, let's dive right into the Marvel Strike Force tier list!
1
S+ tier (God-tier)
| Character name |
| Daimon Hellstrom, Annihilus, Eclipse, Knull, Maestro, Mephisto, Odin, Professor Xavier, Quicksilver [Symbiote], Silver Surfer [Breaker], Storm [Mighty], The Destroyer, Magik [Breaker], Blue Marvel |
Annihilus
Annihilus is currently the strongest character in Marvel Strike Force. It can be part of any team, and if you manage to pull it, it's one character that most likely won't leave your squad anytime soon.Professor Xavier
As you probably know, Professor Xavier is the founder of the X-Men. He is, in MSF, a really solid tank who can do really well alongside other X-Men in the squad. Professor Xavier can also attack Deathproof enemies, ignoring that buff if they have it.
