NetEase has recently soft-launched their survival shooter, Lost Light, in Australia and New Zealand. The game's tagline is Warfare, Progression, and Competition. Before the release, NetEase had stated that the game will contain robust action and will be entirely different from other shooters on the market.

And the words of the devs ring true as the gameplay and concept of the title matches with none. It blends survival and shooter elements in a single title.

At first, the game might look a bit difficult to grasp since all the functions and the UI might look a bit confusing but the players who delve deeper into it can see how the game has paid attention to each and every aspects of a survival shooter.

Starting from the guns, it features around 5 rifles in total, each of which is based on a real-life prototype. The developers have also allowed maximum customization as the guns have 12 modifiable parts according to battlefield requirement.

The graphics are rendered very smoothly and it brings the game’s characters into life. Players can witness futuristic elements in the designs of the in-game characters since the story takes place in the future.

The game also lets you experience the emotions of the players during the war. This is one of the unique features of the game which NetEase are keen to point out. It shows how an enemy can be an ally by asking them to be a team member when they are knocked down by you.

This is all about NetEase’s Lost Light, a unique survival shooter. Apart from these, the developer has also announced that the game will be expanding into more regions in the coming days and new content and improvements are also on their way.

Lost Light is out now for Android as a soft launch title in Australia and New Zealand. Head to the official website to access the game now if you’re in one of these territories.
