LifeAfter Season 4: The 2nd Outbreak officially launches with a zombie apocalypse and new 14 day battle

Halloween is over but the spooks have not left us. The popular open-world doomsday survival game LifeAfter launched a new chapter titled Season 4: The 2nd Outbreak today. The Doomsday world is witnessing paranormal activity like the sudden appearance of strange Black Orbs and Infected moths. You, along with your new helicopter and tank are humanity’s last hope.

But this isn’t all Levin city is facing. It is under a zombie siege, with an unprecedented scale of Infected ravaging the city. You and your fellow survivors must band together and retake Levin City. The zombies will roam around in swarms like in the console game Days Gone, and they’ll create some havoc for you while you explore the map. LifeAfter’s development team has taken things a step further with adding more life to the zombies, something you probably won't encounter in most other games.

Zombies will be unique, with their past life determining the kind of zombie they became. So, athletes will be extremely agile zombies while lawyers will be more prudent. This usage of personality to influence behaviour is absolutely amazing. All this should make the zombies seem more real, creating more fear in survivors as they battle the undead.

Of course, you aren’t going to defeat these monstrosities without any help. Like I mentioned before, this update will feature the new Annihilator-10 helicopter and Tank Iron Stride-54. Further support includes turrets and rocket launches. Use these to lay suppressive fire and obliterate the Infected.

Season 4 also introduces a new mode called Battle for Survival. An absolutely novel gameplay system, Battle for Survival puts players in a single battle that will last 14 days! The storyline will develop more each day and all choices will have significant consequences. Here’s the first two battles players will face:

Mass Crisis: This deals with the appearance of Black Orbs and while investigating you are attacked by a swarm of zombies and one of your teammates becomes Infected. What are you going to do?

Dusk of Levin: The mass crisis was followed by a blanket of pollen covering the world. This pollen makes the Infected stronger. Survivors must fight the pollen Infected and rescue refugees, while searching for the last clue.
