KartRider: Drift will launch Season One and cross-play with consoles on March 8th

Nexon has announced the launch date for Season One of KartRider: Drift, the studio's free-to-play multiplayer kart racing game. Landing on the tracks on March 8th, Season One: New World will let players race against other speed demons with cross-play features among PC, mobile, Steam, Xbox and PlayStation. Along with the season comes new tracks, daily rewards, limited-time events, new race modes and more.

In KartRider: Drift, players can look forward to the thrilling Item Mode where they can collect boons such as barricades and shields to secure their place in the top spot of every race. The Speed Mode, on the other hand, is classic arcade racing without any items, while the License System offers a variety of courses to boost skill levels.

The challenges here can also help players unlock more items like characters, karts and extra tracks. And last but not least, the Time Attack Mode offers solo racers an avenue to test their speed and make it to the very top of the leaderboards for the ultimate bragging rights.
