Interchange is an upcoming fully documented urban planner being developed by Bobby Technology
Documented from beginning to end

- Bobby Technology is a two-man development team from Toronto
- After releasing Chaotic Era for PC, their next plan is the urban planning sim Interchange
- It's set to release on mobile, and its entire dev process is being documented on YouTube
If you've ever wanted to see a mobile release being developed from scratch, then now's your chance. Because indie studio Bobby Technology are set to release their first game on mobile in the form of Interchange, an urban planning and transit sim that they're documenting the entire development of.
If you haven't heard of Bobby Technology yet, then you're not alone. But a brief glance at this two-person indie studio and their previous release, Chaotic Era for PC, offers us an idea of a developer with a very distinct visual style.
And while the trailer does have a slightly grandiose way of talking about it, if Interchange turns out to be anything like Chaotic Era, it's one to watch. Pitched as simulating the always byzantine nature of urban movement and planning, the folks at Bobby Technology plan to document the entire development process via their YouTube channel.

Changing places
Bobby Technology is a development team undoubtedly selling itself on its artistic, engaging style of release. Chaotic Era itself is a minimalist strategy with a visually stunning black and white style, so I think it's fair to expect big things from Interchange.Admittedly, mobile is a very different beast from PC. However, I think it's safe to say that urban planning is a surprisingly popular topic, as Teeny Tiny Towns and Eco Power Towns aptly demonstrate. So there's more than enough space for Bobby Technology and their planned release on the platform.
Of course, if you're sceptical, you can always check in and see how they're doing over on their official YouTube channel.
