Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells' Fantastic Feasts event is now underway to celebrate the festive season

Zynga has announced a new event in Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells called Fantastic Feasts that kicks off this week. It will see you heading to the Three Broomsticks to participate in some festive, food-based shenanigans.

The event will be hosted by Madam Rosmerta, who will task you with collecting different food and ingredients. The items she's looking for include cabbages, carrots, flour, and cinnamon. Once you've collected everything required, you can then complete various recipes to make delicious goods such as Cornish Pasties and Christmas Cakes. These treats do more than just line your stomach, though. You will also receive rewards like power-ups, trophies and unlimited lives.

Outside of the Fantastic Feasts event, there are plenty of other holiday-themed activities to enjoy. You can collect gifts and snowflakes to drop onto your game board. There is also a Holiday Season Pass that will net you numerous rewards for completing specific activities.

Discussing the festive event, Yaron Leyvand, Executive Vice President, Games at Zynga, said: “As we head into the winter holidays, we wanted to honour the traditions of the wizarding world and invite players to a seat at the banquet table with a festive event that truly celebrates the season. We’re thrilled to bring the flavour and magic of the holidays to fans with the Fantastic Feasts event.”

If you are unfamiliar with Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, it is a match-3 puzzler based on the popular wizarding world. There are hundreds of stages to complete, and each features iconic items and characters from the series, including Chocolate Frogs, Winged Keys, sentient chess pieces, and more.

Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
