Gunnar Pinnacles glasses review - Sophisticated Look
|
  • Glasses inspired by architecture
  • Reduces eye-strain when gaming
  • Part of the Strata Collection

Gunnar is known for their fantastic, blue-light blocking glasses that aim to help gamers play on their devices for longer. Using screens all of the time can cause eye strain and headaches, so cancelling out some of the blue light can help with that. Gunnar has released a new addition to the Strata Collection - the Gunnar Pinnacles.

Little squares on the side of the Gunnar Pinnacle glasses

The Strata Collection is inspired by architecture, with this pair of glasses being a bit angular in its frame. The frames themselves are made from magnesium-aluminium and feel quite weighty and sturdy. There are these little square textured patterns on the sides of the frames that just feel very unique and well-designed. I like the silver on the bridge of the nose as well, breaking up all of the black metal. These glasses have an overall sleek look to them, which could easily be worn in a more professional setting or just as a day-to-day pair of glasses. They are an extra-wide pair of lenses, which really do a good job of making a statement on your face.

Gunnar Barton glasses review - "Large Lenses for a Bold Look"
The Gunnar Pinnacles have two different lens options - their clear lenses don't have any sort of tint to them on the outside world, but still block out a considerable amount of blue light from screens. We tend to go with the amber tint, which blocks a ton of blue light, but gives everything an orange tint and glow.

Gunnar Pinacle glasses

Gunnar glasses are known for their durability and come with an anti-reflective and smudge-resistant coating, which works very well. These ones come in a cloth pouch, with a cleaning cloth, and a case to store them in. They are on the larger side, which works well for the style, and feel fantastic to wear.

The Gunnar Pinnacles are a sophisticated pair of extra-wide lenses that aim at reducing blue light so that you can game for longer.
