Singapore-based LandShark Games has officially announced Grifford Academy, the studio's upcoming turn-based RPG that lets players experience a coming-of-age narrative set in the land of Caldria. Developed by a husband-and-wife team, the game follows the tale of protagonists Erika, Viva and Cap on a quest of self-discovery within an enchanted book world.

In Grifford Academy, players can look forward to mystical encounters and malevolent entities on their journey to save their friends, as well as important choices they'll have to make when it comes to shaping the protagonists' personalities.

"It all started when I introduced Dungeons and Dragons to my kids. Seeing their wide, excited eyes as they went on whimsical adventures, rescuing dragons and catching giant chickens, it inspired me to bring this experience to the next level of immersion - the medium of video games," says Paul Naylor, Founder of LandShark Games. "This game is a love letter to my kids. I hope the story of Erika and her friends serves as a gentle guide for anyone finding their way around the frustratingly perplexing, yet beautiful world that is the teenage mind."
