Goddess of Victory: Nikke's Absolute update goes live today with new characters and story events

Goddess of Victory: Nikke fans who have nothing to do this weekend can rest easy. Because if you were waiting with bated breath for new updates, the latest addition to Level Infinite's hit gacha shooter is here. Goddess of Victory: Nikke's new Absolute update arrives complete with three new characters and major story developments.

The Absolute update, as you might expect, adds three new versions of the signature trio from the ABSOLUTE squad to the already stacked Goddess of Victory: Nikke roster. Considered the top operatives in Elysion (and that's saying something), Eunhwa, Emma and Vestia are all getting new SSR Tactical Upgrade versions as part of this update.

Coming with snazzy new looks (and apparently a haircut for Eunhwa), the Tactical Upgrade Plan has made these characters even more invaluable on the field. Whether it's Eunhwa's overwhelming firepower that supports allies, Emma enhancing allies' abilities, or Vesti simply atomising everything in range with explosions, you'll want to have them on your side.

Storytime

Naturally, it wouldn't be a Nikke update without the addition of a host of new story content. A new event, fittingly titled Absolute, features campaign chapters 39 and 40, as well as other reward events featuring goodies such as skins. With Eunhwa's recurring nightmares leading into a new mission involving a mysterious Rapture, there are plenty of mysteries to uncover in the new story event.

Speaking of which, you'll want to check in for the 21-day login event to nab Eunhwa's Day Off skin, while Exia's Hacker Rabbit skin can be nabbed from the September Mission Pass.
