Ghostbusters: Afterlife ScARe lets you catch ghosts with your phone in real life, coming to mobile on November 19th

Ever fancied rising to the occasion when someone asks, "Who you gonna call?" Imprezario Entertainment helps you bust some ghosts with Ghostbusters: Afterlife ScARe, its new augmented reality mobile game landing on both iOS and Android devices this November 19th. Immersing players into the world of the upcoming film Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the game lets you use your mobile device as your handy weapon against the supernatural.

In Ghostbusters: Afterlife ScARe, players can take advantage of their phone's features such as their camera, vibration fx, touch screen, LED light, and ASMR audio to defend their surroundings. You'll have to collect nuclear energy cells to boost your weapons against your spectral foes, as well as solve ESP test puzzles or even dodge slimy attacks (yes, you'll physically have to duck to avoid getting drenched in incoming AR ectoplasm).

I’m always interested in new ways to tell stories and I’m thrilled to see the Ghostbusters mythology expand into the augmented reality front. Ghostbusters: Afterlife has always been about the Ghostbuster in all of us that wants to pick up the proton pack and this is a chance for fans of the new film to join Phoebe and the gang for a new adventure,” says Ghostbusters: Afterlife co-writer and director Jason Reitman.

All episodes will incorporate the most convincing level of AR content, it is our hope we offer a generation of both past and future Ghostbusters a gateway to another dimension,” says Imprezario CEO and the game’s director Brett Tomberlin.

What's even cooler is that Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim and Dan Aykroyd themselves reprise their roles from the Ghostbusters: Afterlife film and lend their guidance to players in the game.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife ScARe will soon be available on the iOS App Store and on Google Play, but for now, you can head on over to the official website to know more about the game.
