Genshin Impact has revealed the rest of the events that will be part of version 5.3
Phase two of version 5.3 brings new characters to the fray
- Earn several freebies through the login event
- Springtime Charms will grant you a costume for Xiangling
- Get yourself new characters and weapons from event wishes
It’s been a few weeks since HoYoverse released version 5.3, Incandescent Ode of Resurrection, in Genshin Impact. We’re now halfway through this patch and as we begin waiting for the next one, it’s time to enjoy the second phase of events in the adventure RPG. From new characters to more rewards, there’s a lot to unpack in this update.
First up is a login event that will run between January 22nd and February 11th. It’s a great chance to claim up to 1,600x Primogems, 10x Intertwined Fate, and 80,000x Mora. Then from February 1st onwards, your mail will be flooded with goodies on a daily basis. These rewards expire after 30 days so don’t forget to claim them.

Next is the Springtime Charms event which will be full of several different gameplay modes. Every challenge you succeed at will net you some Festive Fear. And if you reach a particular amount, then you’ll be granted Xiangling’s New Year’s Cheer outfit, plus a 4-star character of your choice from Liyue. And of course, Primogems, Weapon Ascension Materials, and more will also be on offer.
Between February 3rd and 10th, you can take part in the Overflowing Abundance event, where you must take on the Domains of Mastery or Domains of Forgery. Consume Original Resin during this phase to double your rewards, which can be done up to three times a day. It’s the perfect way to rake in a bunch of Talent Level-Up and Weapon Ascension Materials.

Finally, you can get your hands on new characters and weapons with this phase’s event wishes. These will be held between January 21st and February 11th. The Hearth’s Ashen Shadow will feature the 5-star Arlecchino (Pyro) alongside the new 4-star character, Lan Yan (Anemo). Illuminating Lightning on the other hand will feature Clorinde, the 5-star Electro character.
And to top it off, Epitome Invocation will boost the drop rate for two 5-star weapons, Crimson Moon’s Semblance Polearm and the Absolution Sword.
