Genshin Impact's next update, King Deshret and the Three Magi, is set to go live later this month
If you haven’t already participated in the flurry of events that were introduced with Genshin Impact’s version 3.0 update – The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings, then it's time to pick up the pace as the next update is already upon us. The second phase of v3.0 went live a couple of weeks ago and only the Ley Line Overflow Event is left, which begins tomorrow and will last a week.
Beginning September 28th, Genshin Impact’s newest content update will launch, and it has been named King Deshret and the Three Magi. The addition of the Sumeru region has paved the way for immense storytelling and we will dive deeper into it with this update. The Nature of Wisdom will showcase a new vast desert area where Genshin Impact’s questline will proceed with the addition of new characters and events.
v3.0 allowed players to witness the lushness of Sumeru’s rainforest, but its successor takes adventurers to the harsh desert. The arid lands are home to the people of the Aaru Village, and at the core is the Mausoleum of King Deshret, a place full of puzzles that are guarded by robots that use ancient technology.
This archaic power will also be utilized by the update’s newest boss enemies - The Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network, leader of the Mausoleum, and Aeonblight Drake, who will be found in the rainforest zone.
Three new playable characters will be part of v3.1. These include Nilou, a 5-star Hydro user, the 5-star Electro user General Mahamatra Cyno, and Candace, a 4-star Hydro character that is the guardian of Aaru Village. Additionally, Cyno is also said to be a fan of Genius Invocation, which is supposed to be a trading card game based on Genshin Impact, which will launch in version 3.3.
Meanwhile, players yet in Mondstadt will be able to have some fun as well. the Weinlesefest goes live with this update allowing players to wine and dine, while uncovering the mystery surrounding Razor’s past. Players will also be able to participate in seasonal events and mini-games where they can win umpteen rewards.
