Garena Free Fire has unveiled more details about its upcoming One-Punch Man collaborative event

Following the announcement two weeks ago, Garena Free Fire has now unveiled more details about the battle royale's upcoming One-Punch Man collaboration. The event, called 'The Hero Trial' will take place from January 10th and see players working under the leadership of main characters Saitama and Genos.

Once the event kicks off, players will find a plethora of One-Punch Man content in the game including reskins, costumes and a special event interface. This will see players be able to wear Saitama's pyjamas, a backpack inspired by villains from the series alongside an 'I'm Saitama' emote.

Elsewhere, the Megapunch M1887 and M4A1 are two new weapon skins that will be up for grabs, whilst players who log into the game before January 23rd will net themselves a free Saitama Surfboard skin. The interface transformation, meanwhile, will take place on January 15th.

From this date, players will be able to complete special missions that will take the form of training sessions. Each of these tasks will require players to defeat monsters that will then drop loot boxes with differing levels of rarity. However, to take on these missions, players will first need to collect One-Punch Man Tickets from in-game drops.

Finally, from January 16th to 26th, players can take part in The Path to Hero web event which will offer even more rewards. Here players will battle monsters and collect treasure boxes which contain tokens that can be exchanged for various rewards in the redemption store. To explore these mazes, players will first need to gather exploration tokens by completing daily missions.

Garena Free Fire is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
