Fortnite's v21.40 update introduces Dragon Ball collaboration, 90 FPS for Android, and the return of Lazy Lagoon

Epic Games has just launched a major content update for its insanely popular battle royale Fortnite. Version 21.40 is primarily going to be known for its highly awaited collaboration with the Dragon Ball franchise but it also marks the return of Lazy Lagoon and Pirate Cannons, a refurnished Tilted Towers, and a bunch of more changes. There is something for Android users as well this time!

The Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover will be here for at least a month and will feature numerous themed items and quests. The Power Unleashed mission series will provide numerous rewards for doing tasks, so many cosmetic items, the Tournament of Power, Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items, and so much more. All details about the event can be found in this article.

Before getting into the other changes, let’s talk about something coming to mobile, a platform which has somewhat been sidelined after Fortnite’s removal from the App Store and Google Play. But since Android users can still play by downloading the game from Epic’s website, they will get the bonus of a higher framerate with this update. Compatible devices will now be able to run Fortnite at 90 FPS by checking the box in the Video Settings tab.

As most players may have seen, this season, the Reality Tree has been transforming different POIs and the Daily Bugle is the next one to be converted into a remixed version of the OG Lazy Lagoon. This means that the Pirate Cannons have returned too which can launch either cannonballs or the players themselves. The No Sweat Summer event had players rebuilding Tilted Towers and The Block 2.0 will reflect all these new changes with the recreated restaurant, apartments, and shop buildings.

Fly around as a gun-wielding Goku in 90 FPS by downloading Fortnite now from the official website or use XCloud to play.
