One of our jobs here at Pocket Gamer is to sieve through the hundreds of apps that hit the App Store and Google Play every single day, and unearth those glittering gems.

Lately, though, we've been giving you the chance to have YOUR say, too. Basically, we've been giving you the opportunity to tell us your favourite game from a shortlist of the week's best releases.

This week's votes have been counted (and recounted), and we have a winner: the recently released Android version of Forever Lost: Episode 1.

Forever Lost: Episode 1, which first landed on iOS back in October of 2012, is a creepy room escape adventure title that's packed full of fiendishly difficult puzzles.

Glitch Games's title takes place in an old abandoned mental hospital. You awaken in a locked room not knowing who you are, where you are, or how the hell you're going to escape from your new abode.

This way?

Your aim, then, is to slowly work your way through the dark corridors of this derelict hospital, picking up items and uncovering clues that will help you solve puzzles along the way.

You can use your trusty camera to keep snap shots of every clue and item you encounter on your travels. You can then scribble important notes on these snaps and use them to keep track of your progress.

Thankfully, Forever Lost: Episode 1 features a full in-built hint system, so you'll never be stuck for too long if you do back yourself into a corner.

Fancy it? You can grab Forever Lost: Episode 1 from Google Play for £1.49 / $1.99. Thanks for voting!
