Choose-your-own-adventure classic Deathtrap Dungeon out now on iPhone

I still have original paperback copies of the Steve Jackson and Ian Livingston choose-your-own-adventure books, with severely broken spines from keeping three fingers jammed inside previous pages in case I came face to face with a barbarian I couldn't handle.

Developer Big Blue Bubble has spoken with us about its intentions to bring the Fighting Fantasy series of classic gaming books to iPhone, which began with the original The Warlock of Firetop Mountain.

But Firetop Mountain isn't the book that aging fans of the 59-strong series will immediately leap upon. Deathtrap Dungeon is widely considered to be the pinnacle of the franchise, and it's iPhone adaptation has just rolled its dice on the App Store.
