Developer Big Blue Bubble has announced that it's celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Fighting Fantasy series by slashing the price of its Fighting Fantasy iOS gamebooks to just 69p / 99c.

Unfortunately, it's not all good news: the licensing agreement for Big Blue Bubble's five interactive books is about to expire, which means this is your very last chance to download them before they disappear for good.

If you aren't familiar with the Fighting Fantasy series, it's a range of interactive fiction in which you can choose your own path through the book's world. Along the way, you collect items that may come in handy at a later date, and get yourself into scraps that unfold with the roll of a die.

Back in January 2010, we reviewed one of these Fighting Fantasy gamebooks, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, and awarded it a respectable Pocket Gamer Bronze Award.
