Lemon Jam Studio's Endless Winter: Idle War us is out now in early access on Android

Whenever we hear about idle RPGs, the initial concept that comes to our mind is some relaxing games, but Lemon Jam Studio has created a unique idea of a fight between AI and mankind with the tagline 'humanity lost the concept of time'. This war takes place at Snow Fox base 01, known as Avalanche, where war is fought between the AI and humans where mankind seems to lose the battle against the androids. With this quirky idea, Endless Winter: Idle War is now launched, which will keep you engaged throughout with its dialogue/answer concept as well as automated fights.

About the game

Endless Winter: Idle War is almost a storytelling game with a hint of RPG where humanity has lost the war against AI and is now scattered in different areas trying to hide and survive in a robotic format in the ruthless winter world. Although they were living a robotic life, humans never gave up hope and started building up a Sunspot team. Here is where the game begins. Players are recruited into a squad of three and have to fight against certain robots to capture a specific area.

The fights are fully automated. As players advance in the level, they are represented by the regions they owned or have conquered. As for the characters, there are nine different roles, including tanks, damage dealers, magicians, and healers. The item given to players in-game differs in its level of rarity. There are six different item equip slots to use. The Sunspot fights with their hope of using the sun's heat to melt away the wintery rule of the robots and allow humanity to return.

Final Words

I think Lemon Jam Studio has done a decent job of thinking of a unique concept that deals with the actual fantasy of robots becoming superior to humans.

Endless Winter: Idle War is a generous title that provides easy rewards and kept me entertained throughout. Currently, it is available to download on Android in Early access.
