Edge: Mech-Ascent, a brand new sci-fi gacha AFK battler, launches globally

A brand new AFK strategy RPG titled Edge: Mech-Ascent has launched globally after previously being exclusive to Asia regions. After seeing a lot of success within those areas, the team behind Mech-Ascent is now seeking to expand the game to Western audiences and welcome them into the sci-fi world full of beautiful anime girls and some truly stunning art.

Edge: Mech-Ascent sees you battling a ton of different mechs and creatures alike within a sci-fi arena setting. Battles follow the auto-battle method of gameplay seen in games like Airship Knights or AFK Arena, meaning you won’t actually control combat at all.

Instead, your job is to gear up your team and their equipment to make sure they can meet the challenges that come your way. On top of this, you’ll have to strategise the types of heroes within your team to make sure they synergise well too. Only then will you be able to throw them to the arena and watch as they tear the opponents to shreds.

This is, of course, a gacha game at its core too, meaning you’ll be rolling on various banners to collect new units. Over time, more and more characters will surely make their way to the game, so there are plenty of party members to collect and build your team around, allowing you to play the way you want to play.

On launch, there’s an abundance of content already in the game, from various missions to endless arenas and material collection levels and so on. With the game being free-to-play as well, it’s super easy to jump right in and get started.

And if you’d like to do so yourself, you can download Edge: Mech-Ascent for free at either of the links below this article!
