Dungeon Odyssey lets fans of the manhwa enjoy an idle RPG based on the series

The Korean manhwa industry has slowly become a new pillar of comic-book publishing in the 21st century. No doubt helped by major hits such as Solo Leveling, and the various gaming adaptations series like it receive. And the latest to get the nod is Dungeon Odyssey, which now takes the form of an idle RPG from developer Super Planet!
Dungeon Odyssey is set in a world where a war between humans and monsters saw children kidnapped and brought below the surface. Thanks to the power of the labyrinth, they now boast strange powers, with our principal character Kim Jinwoo ending up as king of the dungeon through a series of events.
On an odyssey
If I seem to be giving Dungeon Odyssey only a very cursory explanation, I do apologise. But at its core this is your typical idle RPG, with some decent graphics and competent-looking gameplay. Usually, I'd say that makes it blend into the background a bit; however, it does have one distinct selling point.Developer Super Planet have contributed to some major successes over the years. So while Dungeon Odyssey may not be my cup of tea, I can see this being a real treat if you're a fan of the original manhwa, and an idle RPG player too.
Dungeon Odyssey also does offer a hefty amount of modes and content to sink your teeth into, not to mention one-handed gameplay for easily putting in a few hours on a subway ride. It might not be for me personally, but if you want to give it a go for yourself, it might hold up to Super Planet's other popular releases like Raising Archangel.
