Ratrod loses traction but keeps control as Drift Mania Championship 2 slides into play

Given the original Drift Mania Championship got over 10 million mobile petrolheads to lose their back ends and go sliding around the corners, the arrival of its sequel has been highly anticipated.

Now available for iOS, and soon on Google Play, Canadian studio Ratrod reckons that Drift Mania Championship 2 takes the action to another level.

Round and round they go

There's a full career mode that will have you competing around 13 circuits, with over a dozen vehicles to unlock, plus 48 tunable performance upgrades from companies such as Royal Purple, K&N, Magnaflow, Centerforce, Whiteline and Mishimoto.

These enable you tweak the suspension, steering sensitivity, gear ratio and weight distribution to suit your own driving style.

And there are hundred of visual modifications including body kits, spoilers, window tints, wheels and custom paint jobs available to ensure your car looks just right.

Head to head

Multiplayer is another big feature - both local and online - and that's something that the current racing leader CSR Racing doesn't yet support.

Finally, Drift Mania Championship 2 comes with 60 achievements to work your way through.

Priced $1.99, €1.59 or £1.49 for iPhone and iPad, we'd expect Drift Mania Championship 2 to be similarly priced on Android.
