Disney Dreamlight Valley is about to tug at your heartstrings with its next free update, Emotional Rescue, launching soon. This Inside Out-inspired chapter introduces Joy and Sadness, a brand new realm to explore, and plenty of seasonal events and rewards that make your Valley feel more alive than ever.
Your first stop in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Emotional Rescue update is Riley’s Headquarters. You take on the role of a Mind Worker to help repair her emotional Control Console. With Joy’s optimism and Sadness’ heartfelt touch, you’ll put together a Dream Production to reignite Riley’s long-term memories and keep her emotions balanced.
Place a remote Headquarters in your Valley and welcome both characters home, unlocking quests, friendship rewards, and more heartfelt moments. But the emotions don’t stop there. Starting September 3rd, the fan-favourite Memory Mania mini-event returns with a nostalgic twist.
Hunt down Riley’s phone across the Valley and unlock themed prizes, including an adorable Nostalgia Capybara companion, available until September 16th. Pair that with this update’s DreamSnaps challenges, and you’ll have plenty of weekly opportunities to show off your creative flair.
And if you're still craving summer vibes, the Retro Roadtrip Star Path serves up a breezy dose of retro fashion, diner-inspired furniture, and a rock-and-roll Fox companion. Even Star Path is much more rewarding with refreshed Duties, a smoother progression system, and new tasks like Companion interactions and Photo Galley Challenges.

If that isn’t enough to fill your Valley with emotions, Lucky from 101 Dalmatians is wagging his way into the Premium Shop. He’ll be joined by fresh Dream Styles for Anna from Frozen and Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. Scrooge McDuck’s store will also get new daily stock, while seasonal Moonstone packs add more limited-time cosmetics to your collection.
