Diablo Immortal kicks off its nineties-tastic Spawn collab with new events and outfits for you to collect
- Diablo Immortal's hotly anticipated Spawn crossover is now live
- Jump into the fray and don the iconic red cloak of the 90s antihero
- Take on the demon Malebolgia, and collect rewards through the Hellspawn's Vengeance tasks
Today, two icons of the 1990s team up for the first time ever, as Diablo Immortal and Spawn kick off their first collaboration today! Combining the classic hack 'n slash dungeon-crawler RPG, with Todd McFarlane's iconic anti-hero, Diablo Immortal lets you step into the red, black and white of everyone's favourite hellbound champion.
Running until November 1st, the Diablo Immortal x Spawn crossover will let you don the iconic red cloak and outfit of the anti-hero with the Hellspawn Guise, and be accompanied by longtime friend/foe in the form of the Violator (yes, that's his real name) as your new demonic companion.
Gone through hell
Naturally, there's plenty of ways to gain other rewards, whether that's in the Hellspawn's Bane, a Survivor's Bane challenge spinoff, or in the Hellspawn's Vengeance tasks and quests to complete. You'll be able to wield Necroplasmic weapons, which offer special attacks by 'consuming' harmful debuffs applied to you.And of course, there needs to be a pretty powerful boss to challenge the likes of Spawn. Now, Sanctuary is also being threatened by Malebolgia, who debuts as a brand-new boss. You'll be challenged with completing multiple ranks based on clear time, and achieving MVP, with some enticing cosmetics as rewards.
While for many younger players this'll be a bit of a mystifying experience, I'm sure longtime fans of Diablo who grew up in the grim and gritty 90s will get a kick out of it. And for everybody else, it's a chance for new rewards and new ways to take down demons, and beat them at their own game.
Still, if you do plan on jumping into Diablo Immortal then you should always go in prepared. Be sure to check out our Diablo Immortal codes list for some free goodies, and our other guides for details on how to survive Sanctuary!
