Diablo Immortal set to receive a mini-update in the form of a new battle pass and two brand new events
As of August 4th at 3:00 AM server time, Blizzard’s massively popular ARPG Diablo Immortal, based on the legendary ARPG series of the same name, will recieve a “mini-update” that will introduce the season 3 battle pass. This battle pass will come with a ton of new cosmetics, various currency rewards and special loot, and new gear for you to utilize as well. Along with this new battle pass comes two new in-game events that will add some flair to your typical gameplay loop.
First up, let’s go over exactly what is included in this new pass. The big prize here, achieved at level 40 if you are using the premium pass, is the Aspect of Justice Armor cosmetic. This cosmetic will adorn you in gear not too unlike that of the angelic Tyreal, allowing you to show off your love for the fan-favourite character by rocking gear very similar to his.
At level 1, you’ll unlock the Aspect of Justice weapon cosmetic, which will give an angelic scythe-like look to whatever weapon you decide to equip it to. Alongside this, you can expect to net Legendary Gems, Crests, Hilts, and even more! The season 3 battle pass will run through September 1st at 2:59 AM server time, so be sure to max it out before then.
As for the two new events, there’s a new daily event and a limited-time larger-scale event. The daily event, Wrathborne Invasion, will cause an invasion of hell-forged demonic forces to invade random points across the world at 12:00 PM server time one per day. This event will also have a boss on display if you manage to wipe out the first wave of minions, as Gorgothra will then come out to play. Rewards range from high-level gear to six Enchanted Dust on offer for the top three damage dealers.
Next, we have the Hungering Moon limited-time event. This one will run from August 12th to August 15th, which will have the moon offering up challenges for you to complete. If completed, you’ll then receive Moonslivers, which can then be traded for Blessings. After acquiring seven of those, you can turn that in for various rewards.
Phew! Lots on offer for what’s being called a mini-update, and that’s not even all! There are a fair few quality-of-life features being offered up as well.
