How play-to-earn events work in Crazy Defense Heroes: a complete guide

If you’ve just recently started your crazy defense story, then you’ll be thrilled to learn that the classic rewards you earn by playing the game and unlocking various chests are not the only ones you’ll be eligible to collect. Among hundreds of characters, towers and spells, you can further enhance your account by collecting rewards through the play-to-earn system.

If that’s the very first time hearing about the term, worry not - we’re going to explain in great detail how that works, since it’s sort of a hidden game system that you cannot really track. However, it’s there, and if you started playing Crazy Defense Heroes relatively recently, chances are you haven’t had a chance to receive rewards from it yet.

What are play-to-earn events?

Play-to-earn events are, simply put, monthly cumulative events that reward players for leveling up their Avatar (account) and continuously progressing in the game via the Campaign mode and other instances.

Each month a new event will be underway, but since there is no function that can track your progress at the moment, players can do so manually by checking the game’s wiki.

What are the rewards?

The rewards for each qualifying player is a shared amount of TOWER Tokens from a total pool which varies from month-to-month (this November and December the pool will be a total of 1,200,000 Tokens). TOWER tokens will be usable to purchase NFTs (non fungible tokens), to access certain gameplay modes in the upcoming tower defense blockchain game.

Unlike regular IAP-style rewards, players who earn TOWER Tokens can use them for a number of unique benefits, from voting for their preferred content to be added in the future blockchain game, to choosing the type of game content they want added to Crazy Defense Heroes. That’s a new type of reward that lets everybody speak their minds and have their voice heard when it comes to the updates a game receives.

In other words, players who qualify for these monthly play-to-earn rewards will have the ability to influence the development of the game and become a pillar of the Crazy Defense Heroes community.

How to qualify for Tokens?

For the month of November, players will have to earn a total of 315,000 XP in order to qualify for the monthly play-to-earn rewards. The same applies for December. Therefore, starting with 1st of November and until the 30th of November, players who just started will have to get at least level 22 Avatar in game.

As for December, players who started playing in November will need to gather a minimum of 630,000 XP by the end of the year in order to be eligible for the rewards. That will translate to at least Avatar level 30.

Furthermore, any player who wants to qualify for these rewards should have their account linked in the game. Guest accounts cannot qualify, so make sure that you first link with your Google account, and then link your MetaMask wallet to your account before the end of the month to receive your tokens.
