Charlotte's Table opens pre-registration ahead of release
Gaming giant NetMarble has announced that pre-registration has opened for its upcoming match-3 puzzler Charlotte’s Table. This one sees you take on the role of the titular Charlotte as she opens up her own restaurant, where you’ll have to complete match-3 scenarios to fulfil orders while simultaneously decorating the place and making it your own.
Charlotte’s Table is meant to be a casual puzzler, with simple and easy-to-understand mechanics. There won’t be any hair-pullingly difficult challenge here, as the game is mainly meant to be enjoyed at a laid-back pace as you get through each scenario. Think of something like Bejewelled or Candy Crush for an idea of the tone.
Where it does differentiate a little bit is that it’s also a narrative-focused title! Within Charlotte’s Tale, you’ll also be experiencing the protagonist’s life as she attempts to achieve her dreams of becoming a culinary master. You won’t start right at the top here but instead will get to experience Charlotte’s growth as you progress alongside her.
This will be displayed in a variety of storylines that range from Charlotte discovering the secrets of her birth family and what they’ve hidden in their history, or even potentially a blossoming love life as you get to interact with a large cast of unique characters, each one distinct and interesting in their own way.
Add in the ability to customize both Charlotte’s looks and clothing alongside the restaurant itself, creating a theme for the establishment that ranges from the interior space to the tableware, plating, and even more details. This will allow each player to express themselves in many different ways and keeps the game fresh depending on who is playing it.
