Cell Survivor tier list (April 2026) - Keep viruses at bay with the best weapons in the meta
Not all viruses are the same, so why should your weapons against them be any different? Our Cell Survivor tier list ranks all the best weapons so you can live to fight another day.
If you are stuck trying to clear the high-level virus bosses in Cell Survivor, your skill choices are likely the problem. After pushing past chapter 35 and testing every single skill combination out there, I can confidently tell you that not all weapons are created equal.
Based on raw damage output, scaling potential, and late-game utility, here is a complete Cell Survivors weapons tier list for the current meta.
In the later stages, where virus segments boast tons of HP, relying on flat-damage weapons will get you killed. You have to pivot to percentage-based damage and execution mechanics if you want to clear the screen.

Something to keep in mind: certain weapons, like Small Medical Tower and Spinning Dagger, work better in stages where the virus is moving very close to you. They are not equally good in other stages.
On the other hand, a skill like Sterile Swab performs equally well regardless of the stage. That's something that I took into consideration when I was coming up with these rankings.

Cell Survivor Weapons tier list - Red Ones
In general, red weapons are the best. It's tricky to get them (chests/events), but it's definitely worth the effort. They deal something like 10 times the damage of yellow weapons, just to give you a ballpark of what we are talking about.
Abyssal Maw
This is the undisputed king. During my testing, the Maw's core execution ability proved absolutely mandatory. When late-game bosses have crazy amounts of HP, the Maw completely bypasses the grind by executing the final 10-20% of a segment's health bar instantly.Satellite Storm
In my mind, Satellite Storm becomes an S+ tier necessity once you unlock its purple upgrade, which shreds 3% of enemy HP as true damage per hit. Combining this weapon with Abyssal Maw is the dream.White Angel
Before the nerfs, this one was probably the best weapon after Abyssal Maw. It was introduced in the Valentine Event, and it was the go-to combo (along Maw) in higher levels. It requires a high crit rate and damage to unlock its potential. Still a very solid option.Monkey King
If you manage to get the Monkey King's lightning skill early in a stage, it functions as an instant-win button, chunking the boss down before it can even swarm you. It doubles its damage and boosts critical rate when upgraded, making it effective in mid to late-game stages.

Cell Survivor Weapons tier list - The rest
Weapons like Snot Dragon Power and Special-effect Tablet look okay but they don't have good modifiers. Picking them in a high-level run is a guaranteed death sentence, so just avoid them if you can.
Because viruses' HP become crazy high later on, in general, use weapons that offer percentage % damage or the best ones. Flat damage becomes irrelevant at that point.
Because of that, weapons that felt good in the early stages become pretty much unusable.
Sterile Swab
Sterile Swab, even though it's only a green quality weapon, can be super powerful. Especially if you get it early on and star stacking duration + size upgrades (with fireball), it can cover a very large area.Capsule
If you are an F2P player, you are kinda stuck with the Capsule skill as your primary, and that's the only reason I thought to say a few things about it.The skill is underwhelming - let's get that out of the way. If you can get the split (purple upgrade), it's somewhat okay. Regardless, I wouldn't spend any upgrades on it if I had the choice.
