About the game
Castle War: Idle Island has been published by Plug in Digital, one of the largest independent video game distributors. It is a PvP castle v castle battler that uses the auto-chess format where you have to build towers, craft cannons while fighting mages and mercenaries.Your main objective will be to build up a castle. Depending on your playstyle, it could be either defensive or aggressive. Once your castle is ready, you need to rule the island and assign different tasks to your troops.
There are various types of troops such as archers, pikemen, and swordsmen. There are also various siege weapons like ballistas, catapults, cannons and trebuchets. You have to choose your favourite and upgrade them in the armoury to increase your overall strength.
In Castle War: Idle Island, you can also cast magic. You can call anything from metro strikes to black holes to destroy enemies. As the story unravels, you have to prove how much more efficient you are in completing the challenging modes than others.
Unfortunately, no gameplay footage is available, so we can't comment much on what to expect, but it looks pretty good from the screenshots.
