In Buried Stars, you play as one of a number of contestants participating in auditions for a live survival show. However, when the roof collapses in on the studio, trapping you and the others inside, a murderer stalking the cast begins picking them off one by one.
It's a classic locked room set-up with a showbiz twist, blending in adventure mechanics, mystery and a little bit of visual novel to boot.
