Digital Leisure bringing FMV Brain Dead 13 to iPhone this Friday
I don't remember 1 through 12...

Full Motion Video aficionado Digital Leisure is packing the iPhone App Store with yet another game, ripped from the heady heyday of interactive movies that couldn’t quite decide whether they were cartoons or games.
Joining the likes of Dragon’s Lair, Space Ace, Cobra Command, and Road Warrior, Digital Leisure is bringing Brain Dead 13 to the device.
You play as Lance, a Nickelodeon reject who’s been sent to an evil genius’s castle to fix a broken computer. Upon arrival, you find the world-domination plans of Dr Nero Neurosis, and are quickly chased by the Doc’s psychotic servant.
What follows is some lushly drawn cartoon scenes, as you press the right button (or tap the correct part of the screen, in the remake’s case) at the right time, to avoid death and dismemberment. Tap away efficiently enough and you’ll escape alive.
The game originally came out in 1995 on fondly remembered failures like the 3DO, Jaguar, and CD-i. It came out on the PlayStation and Sega Saturn, too.
Do you remember this game, at all? And, more pertinently, would you buy a remake on iPhone? Let us know. The game’s out on Friday.
