Bird Strike gets a free Featherlite Edition
Endless mode thanks to iAds

With its Flick Kick Football riding high the charts on the back of the World Cup, New Zealand developer PikPok has taken the time to revisit its tilt and boost arcade game Bird Strike.
Now released in the shape of Bird Strike Featherlite Edition, this free version gives you the Endless Climb mode, together with OpenFeint integration so you can compare high scores as well as access achievements and challenges.
Wanna Nissan? The rub is that it uses Apple's iAd system, although if you find you're so offended by ads such as Nissan's Leaf or Dove soap, you can pay to upgrade to the Bird Strike Gold Edition release.
As well as dropping the ads, this gives you the Challenge Mode World Tour levels.
The game itself is a Doodle Jump affair that has you launching Gerald the bird as far as you can, your journey aided by power ups such as seeds and jetpads, while avoiding girders and UFOs.
Reviewer Keith gave it a Bronze award saying, "Bird Strike is... a fun-filled arcade game packed with style".
Bird Strike Featherlite Edition is out now.
